building the Digital future

The most influential Congress in the digital ecosystem in Latin America and a reference for strategic dialogue on technology, business, and public policy.

ANDICOM 2026 aims to analyze the role of Artificial Intelligence and digital technologies as structural forces that are redefining social well-being, economic competitiveness, and institutional strengthening.

In a context of unprecedented technological acceleration, AI emerges not only as a tool for operational efficiency, but as a new engine of power, transformation, and decision-making, with profound social, ethical, economic, and geopolitical implications.

Under the theme “Unleashing the Power of AI”, the Congress addresses how to unlock, scale, and govern the potential of AI to generate real value, with economic, institutional, and social impact, from a business, ethical, and sustainable perspective.

History

ANDICOM: 41 editions building

the digital future of the region

What today is the most influential congress of the digital ecosystem in Latin America began in 1974 as the First National Telecommunications Congress, a space where industry, academia, and the State came together for the first time to think about the future of connectivity in Colombia.

In 1991, CINTEL was born with a clear mission: to promote innovation, productivity, and technological development of the country. Four years later, in 1995, it resumed the organization of the congress in Cartagena, marking the beginning of a new era. In 1996, the ANDICOM brand was officially created, with 44 international speakers and a regional vision that was just beginning to take shape.

With the new century came internationalization. Delegations from Ecuador, France, Sweden, Canada, the United States, and South Korea turned ANDICOM into a global stage. In the year 2000, the barrier of 1,000 attendees was surpassed for the first time.

The following decade brought the major digital conversations: cloud computing, cybersecurity, smart cities. The ANDICOM stage became the place where the most influential minds in the technology world shared their visions: Irwin Jacobs from Qualcomm, Randi Zuckerberg from Facebook, Mitch Lowe from Netflix, among many others.

In 2025, ANDICOM celebrated its 40th edition with historic figures: 6,200 attendees, more than 35 countries, 150 world-class speakers, and 100 academic sessions. A milestone that marked the closing of one cycle and the opening of a new one.

Today, ANDICOM 2026 positions itself at the center of the most relevant conversation of our era: how to unlock the true potential of artificial intelligence to transform economies, organizations, and the development of the region.

From the first telecommunications congress to the AI era. Forty editions. One single purpose: to build the digital future of Colombia and Latin America.
