Data, Cloud and Artificial Intelligence: The Panel Bringing Oracle and NVIDIA Together at ANDICOM 2026

28 Aug 2026

Polkan García and Guilherme Fuhrken come to Cartagena for a conversation Latin American organizations can no longer afford to postpone.

Artificial intelligence is no longer evaluated by its potential. It is evaluated by its results. And in Latin America, the gap between organizations already generating real results with AI and those still at the pilot stage is wider than it may seem.

In September, two of the companies shaping global digital transformation will come to ANDICOM 2026 to address that gap—and how to close it.

The Panel: Business Transformation: Data, Cloud and Artificial Intelligence

Oracle and NVIDIA are not peripheral players in the AI revolution. They are part of its infrastructure. Their Latin American representatives will join ANDICOM 2026 with complementary perspectives on what is needed to make the region’s digital transformation real, scalable, and sustainable.

Polkan García — Oracle

As Vice President of Cloud, Data & AI for Latin America, García has more than 20 years of experience leading technology organizations across the region. His perspective is grounded in a premise that is rarely stated so clearly: AI is not here to replace human talent. It is here to amplify it.

His conference at ANDICOM 2026 presents four concrete priorities for organizations looking to turn AI into a real competitive advantage: developing new skills to work with AI; implementing use cases incrementally, measurably, and adaptively; strengthening governance, security, and risk management; and building a scalable foundation of elastic infrastructure, connected data, and integrated identity.

This is not theory. It is the roadmap that Latin American companies such as Rappi, Pipefy, and Millenium BPO are already following through Oracle Cloud Infrastructure—with advanced AI capabilities including OCI Supercluster powered by next-generation NVIDIA GPUs and Oracle Generative AI Services.

Guilherme Fuhrken — NVIDIA

As LATAM Enterprise Sales Manager, with more than 30 years of experience in telecommunications and technology businesses across the region, Fuhrken has spent more than eight years at NVIDIA working with major corporations and governments to demonstrate how artificial intelligence is transforming entire industries—from telecommunications and retail to the public sector.

Latin America represents between 3% and 5% of NVIDIA’s global revenue, a modest share compared with the weight of major U.S. hyperscalers in the market. But other indicators tell a different story: NVIDIA currently has more than 1,500 Latin American startups in its accelerator program and more than 250,000 researchers registered across its development platforms and Deep Learning Institute.

The question Fuhrken brings to ANDICOM 2026 is strategic: what initiatives should Latin American countries lead to build a robust innovation ecosystem powered by AI, HPC, and high-performance networks? The answer is not purely technological—it is a decision involving public policy, investment, and talent.

Why This Panel Matters at ANDICOM 2026

The convergence of data, cloud, and artificial intelligence is not a future trend. It is the infrastructure on which business competitiveness is being built today. Organizations attending this panel at ANDICOM 2026 will not hear a product presentation—they will gain a strategic perspective on where the industry is heading and which decisions can no longer be postponed.

Because in the AI economy, the advantage does not belong to those with the most tools. It belongs to those who know how to use, govern, and scale them.
