Greg Satell at ANDICOM 2026: real transformation doesn’t start with technology — it starts with movement
The author of Cascades and Wharton lecturer arrives in Cartagena with a thesis that redefines how organizations should think about innovation and artificial intelligence.
There is a difference between adopting artificial intelligence and truly transforming with it. Most organizations are doing the first and calling it the second. Greg Satell has spent decades studying why that confusion is so costly — and how to avoid it.
This September, he arrives at ANDICOM 2026.
From Ukraine to Wharton: a career that defies the conventional script
Greg Satell is Co-Founder of ChangeOS, a global transformation and change advisory, an international keynote speaker, and one of the most influential business authors of his generation. His book Cascades: How to Create a Movement that Drives Transformational Change became a bestseller, and his previous work Mapping Innovation was selected as one of the best business books of 2017.
A Lecturer at The Wharton School and a regular contributor to Harvard Business Review — with more than 50 published articles — Satell has built a reputation on something uncommon: combining academic rigor with real executive experience.
Because his career is not just that of a thinker. He served as Co-CEO of KP Media, which he scaled from a small private firm to a publicly traded company valued at USD $100 million with more than 800 employees, later sold to Ukraine Media Holding in 2010. He also spent 15 years living and working in Eastern Europe, including leading a major news organization during Ukraine’s Orange Revolution — one of the most studied political transformation movements of the 21st century.
That combination of thought and action is exactly what he brings to Cartagena.
The Physics of Change: why AI alone does not transform
The conference Satell presents at ANDICOM 2026 starts from a premise that is rarely stated clearly on major technology stages: artificial intelligence and innovation do not generate transformation on their own.
The Physics of Change: How to Turn AI and Innovation Into Genuine Transformation offers a different reading of the moment organizations are living through. Implementing tools is not enough — real transformation requires understanding how change moves within an organization, what forces drive it, and what structures hold it back.
It is a vision Satell has developed through years of research and work with leading organizations around the world: change has its own physics. And organizations that do not understand it end up investing in technology without seeing results.
Why this perspective is urgent for Latin America
In a region where AI adoption is advancing rapidly but the gap between pilots and projects that actually scale remains wide, Satell’s perspective arrives at exactly the right moment. Latin American organizations do not need more arguments to adopt AI — they need to understand how to turn that adoption into real, sustainable, and measurable transformation.
Those who attend ANDICOM 2026 with Greg Satell will not be listening to a presentation about the future of artificial intelligence. They will receive a framework for understanding why their change initiatives work or don’t — and what to do differently.
