CINTEL Opens Call to Recognize Initiatives Leading Digital Transformation, Cybersecurity, and Smart Cities in Colombia
Selected projects will be recognized at ANDICOM 2026, the most important Business and Technology Congress in Latin America, which brings together business leaders, public authorities, and international experts to analyze the impact of technology on the economy and society.
Bogotá, June 2026. As public and private organizations accelerate their digital transformation processes and territories advance in the adoption of technologies to improve citizens’ quality of life, a key question arises: which are the initiatives making a difference today and could become benchmarks for the country?
With the purpose of identifying and making them visible, CINTEL announced the opening of its 2026 recognition calls: the Business Digital Transformation Award, the Business Cybersecurity Awards, and the Smart City Innovator Awards. These initiatives aim to highlight projects generating tangible results, promoting innovation, and contributing to Colombia’s digital development.
The recognitions will be awarded in September during ANDICOM 2026, the most important Business and Technology Congress in Latin America. In its 41st edition, the event will bring together business leaders, government representatives, technology experts, academics, and investors to analyze the challenges and opportunities of the digital economy.
Through these recognitions, ANDICOM strengthens its role as the stage where the conversations defining the country’s digital future converge, along with the initiatives already generating concrete results in organizations and territories.
“These recognitions seek to identify and give visibility to organizations, companies, and territories demonstrating how technology can translate into tangible results for people, businesses, and society. Beyond rewarding successful projects, we seek to highlight initiatives that can inspire other ecosystem actors and become benchmarks for the country,” stated Manuel Martínez, Executive Director of CINTEL.
